I'm not sure how I got hooked into joining some of these "get rich quick" sites - I know better. I think I did it to be nice to the people who invited me. These sites supposedly earn you money through revenue sharing from their advertisers. Squidoo operates on this concept. I've made a big $1.50 there over the past two months and donate half to charity.

I'm still waiting around for Zenzuu to do something. There is supposedly some huge gathering in Las Vegas to kick off the official launch. When I initially signed up with Yuwie, there was an annoying glitch so that was that. I recently joked with someone on one of the Ning forums I belong to about "I'll join yours if you'll join mine" and he took me up on it, so I had no choice but to re-join Yuwie out of obligation......  read more »

4:00 PM - Negative Asian cues resulted in a poor opening for the market today, but a slightly positive opening for European markets at noon gave some support. But the last hour of trade again saw significant selling pressure and Sensex closed at 14,293, down 277 points from the previous close. Nifty shut shop at 4266, down 81 points. CNX Midcap and BSE Smallcap indices lost 4% and 3.5% each. All sectoral indices, except that for IT, closed lower. Biggest losers on the Sensex included JP Associates, Hindalco, L&T and Maruti, while gainers were ONGC, HDFC and Wipro, among others.  read more »
